The Owen Anderson Papers consist primarily of correspondence, minutes, nominations and other materials from his tenure as Chair of the North Dakota Judicial Nominating Committee. The Judicial Nominating Committee is responsible for providing the Governor with a list of potential nominees for each vacancy in a District Court or the North Dakota Supreme Court.
